Departments and Programs
The University strives to enhance student learning experiences by seeking both national and state accreditation when applicable to the specific program. As a result of these efforts, the University of Nebraska at Kearney is accredited by:
- North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
- National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education
Additional individual program accreditations include:
- American Chemical Society Approved List of Programs (Chemistry)
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Speech-Language Pathology)
- Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (Athletic Training)
- Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (Counseling)
- Council on Social Work Education (Social Work)
- National Association of Industrial Technology (Construction Management, Industrial Distribution, Telecommunications Management)
- National Association of Schools of Music (Music)
- National Association of School Psychologists (School Psychology)
- Nebraska Department of Education (Teacher Education)
The College of Business and Technology is currently working toward accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) programs.
