Not present: Erica Wendland, Marilyn Hadley and David Palmer
The meeting was called to order at 3:05 p.m.
Ken Nikels visited with Bob Appleson on his upcoming visit. It's been tentatively decided that Ken and Bob Appleson will have breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by meetings with the Vice Chancellor and the Chancellor. At 10:45 a.m. we meet with the UNK Assessment Committee along with the working groups from Criterion 3 and 4; and at noon a luncheon will be held with the Steering Committee. By March 12 a visitation team (likely 6 persons) will be named. If we need to expand in others areas or levels, e.g. distance sites, on-line options, Ph.D. opportunities, fundraising, etc., we should mention it now so proper persons can be appointed.
It was suggested that a Self Study index would be helpful.
Liz Peck passed out an addendum to the chapter 5 outline. Randy Haack passed out a new Chapter 4 outline. Suggestions for chapter outlines were discussed and revised outlines will be e-mail to Jill Hays during the week of the 17th and all outlines will be combined into one document and sent out hopefully by Friday, February 21.
The working group chairs will meet on Tuesday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m. in FNDH 2124. The Steering Committee will meet again on Tuesday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m. in the Warner Conference Room.
