Three Major options are available:
- I. German Option-Bachelor of Arts Degree
- II. German Translation and Interpretation Option-Bachelor of
Arts Degree
- III. German Teaching Subject Endorsement Option- Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Education
- A. General Studies Program - 45 hours
- B. Foreign Language Requirement met by the major (2 intermediate or upper level courses
required) - 5-16 hours.
- C. German Option - 34 hours
- D. One minor or major other than German - 24-36 hours
- E. Total including electives - 125 hours

**A student must earn at least a "B" in all of the Translation and
Interpretation seminars in order to obtain the Certificate of Translation-Interpretation.

- D. One minor or major other than the language of specialization - 24-36 hours
