Professional Vocational Education Sequence
for Endorsement in Vocational Education

Secondary teachers must possess a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate. For vocational endorsement which qualifies teachers to teach in a vocational education program in Nebraska, the following professional Vocational Education courses are provided:

A. Core Requirements
Take all the following:
VOED 400, Business and Technology Core Methods - 3 hours
VOED 431, Coordinating Techniques - 3 hours
VOED 432, Foundations and Contemporary Issues in Vocational Education - 3 hours
VOED 434, Introduction to Students with Special Needs - 3 hours
B. Specialization Requirements
For information regarding the required occupational experience in the following areas:
1. Business Education
2. Diversified Occupations
3. Marketing Education
4. Occupational Home Economics
5. Trade and Industrial Education
