All UNK degrees require a minimum of 125 hours. Forty (40) of the hours required for all UNK degrees must be upper division hours, which are courses numbered 300 or above taken at a 4-year college or university.

FREN 101GS*, Beginning French II - 5 hours
FREN 200GS, Intermediate French I - 3 hours
FREN 201GS, Intermediate French II - 3 hours
FREN 204GS, Intermediate French Conversation - 2 hours
FREN 303, French Phonetics - 2 hours
FREN 305, Study of French Civilization - 3 hours
FREN 401, Advanced Composition and Grammar Review - 3 hours
FREN 414, Advanced French Conversation - 3 hours
FORL 472, Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages - 3 hours
*Students with high school preparation or native competencies may enter the program at a higher level, reducing total hours for the program. Students beginning an endorsement in French in the Fall of 1997 or thereafter may not include FREN 100/101 in the hours for the endorsement. See advisor for equivalency.
