NOTE: Students who have been granted admission to the University of Nebraska at Kearney and at the time of admission hold aviation licenses and ratings acquired without credit from an approved college but which are necessary for satisfaction of Airway Science degree requirements may, upon proof of such licences and ratings, have the academic requirement portion of such licenses and ratings waived. Upon satisfactory completion of a flight check by the UNK Chief Flight Instructor or his designee, the flight portion of such licenses and ratings will be waived as a degree requirement. UNK course credit will not be given for any license or rating acquired without credit from an approved college. All flight training completed subsequent to admission to UNK must be accomplished within the UNK program.
