Take all of the following:
FCSC 110GS, Introduction to Nutrition - 3 hours
FCSC 220, Food Preparation - 3 hours
(Prereq: CHEM 145 or CHEM 160 and CHEM 160L)
FCSC 315, Cultural Perspectives in Food & Nutrition - 3 hours
FCSC 335, Nutrition Throughout the Life Cycle - 4 hours
(Prereq: BIOL 215GS, or BIOL 225 and BIOL 226; CHEM 150 or CHEM 160 and CHEM 160L)
FCSC 420, Community Nutrition - 3 hours
FCSC 451, Seminar in Nutrition and Dietetics - 1 hour
CSP 417, Counseling Skills - 3 hours
General Studies required by minor:
These general studies courses may add to the total number of hours required in the general studies program if additional specific general studies courses are required by the student's major.
BIOL 215 GS, Human Physiology - 4 hours
Take ONE of the following options:
Take one course:
CHEM 150GS, Consumer Organic Chemistry - 3 or 4 hours
