Speech Communications from the Department of Speech
Communications and Theatre  Arts was absorbed by the
Department of Journalism and Mass Communication in
1998 to become the Department of Communications.
Theatre from the Department of Speech Communications
and Theatre Arts  was absorbed by the Department of
Music & Dance  in 1998 to become the Department of
Music and Performing Arts. Speech Communications
