COUNSELING

The Counseling Center offers confidential and free counseling to students who are currently enrolled at UNK. The Center offers students the opportunity to discuss thoughts, feelings, and concerns with professional counselors in a non-threatening environment. Personal counselors offer UNK students direction and support, while assisting them to accept responsibility for their actions and decisions.

UNK students discuss a variety of concerns, family issues, relationship difficulties, alcohol and drug related problems, crisis management, depression, and special needs. Personal counselors also facilitate support groups on a variety of issues as the need or interest arises. Further information is available in the Counseling Center. The Counseling Center is located in the Memorial Student Affairs Building and is part of the Student Affairs Division.
