Pre-Radiologic Technology


The following one-year program is based on the requirements for admission to the Division of Radiation Science Technology Education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.

Take ONE of the following options:
Take 2 courses:
BIOL 103GS, General Biology - 4 hours
BIOL 215GS, Human Physiology - 4 hours (Prereq: A college Biology course)
OR take 2 courses:
BIOL 225, Anatomy and Physiology - 4 hours
BIOL 226, Anatomy and Physiology - 4 hours
Take 1 course from:
MATH 102*, College Algebra - 3 hours
MATH 112*, Scientific Topics in Mathematics - 5 hours
MATH 123, Applied Calculus I - 3 hours (Prereq: MATH 102 or MATH 112)
*Students with sufficient preparation may enter the mathematics program at MATH 123.
Take 1 course from:
SOC 100GS, Introduction to Sociology - 3 hours
PSY 230GS, Human Development - 3 hours
Take all of the following:
BIOL 325, Medical Terminology - 1 hours (Prereq: A college Biology course)
CHEM 160GS, General Chemistry - 3 hours
CHEM 160LGS, General Chemistry Laboratory - 1 hour
ENG 101GS, Expository Writing I - 3 hours
ENG 102GS, Expository Writing II - 3 hours
PHYS 205GS, General Physics - 5 hours
PSY 203GS, General Psychology - 3 hours
Humanities elective - 3 hours
