Admission Fee

Payable at the time of admission - not refundable.

The Admission Fee is a onetime, mandatory fee that is used to establish a student's undergraduate records.


Computer Technology
Computer Technology$5.00/hr (98-99 rate)

The Computer Technology Fee is not refundable. The Computer Technology Fee funds instructional technology resources for students.


Facilities Fee
Facilities Fee per hour$5.50 (98-99 rate)

The Facilities Fee is not refundable. The Facilities Fee supports financing of revenue bond facilities. (Summer session - see Summer Class Schedule.)


Health Fee
Regular session, each semester$19.00 (98-99 rate)

(Fee assessed to all students enrolled for 7 or more hours.) The Health Fee is not refundable. The Health Fee is used to support the Student Health Center. (Summer session - see Summer Class Schedule.)


ID Card Fee
ID Card Fee (per term)$3.00 (98-99 rate)

Fee assessed each term student is enrolled. Provides student with validated ID card.


Library Fee
Library Fee (per term)$0.50/hr (98-99 rate)

The Library Fee is not refundable. The Library Fee supplements book collects, research materials and serial journal collections.


Late Fee Payment Surcharge

In addition to the $15 Late Registration charge, students who are registering late must pay a late fee payment surcharge.


Late Registration

A student may begin registration late after Open Registration has ended and classes have begun. Written permission from the instructor or the department chairperson is required for registration in closed classes.

A $15 Late Registration Fee and a Fee Payment surcharge are assessed. All tuition and other fees must be paid at the time of the late registration.

Note: After the scheduled Late Registration period (above) ends, the instructor's or department chairperson's written permission is required for registration/adding a class. A registration, based on extenuating circumstances, following the second week of a class requires the written permission of the instructor, the department chairperson, and the school dean.

The New Student Enrollment Fee is a onetime, mandatory fee charged all first-time students enrolled for 7 or more hours. The fee is used to support the orientation program.

Certain courses require a materials fee in addition to regular registration fees.
Student Activity Fee

(Fee assessed to all students enrolled for 7 or more hours.)
The purpose of the Activity Fee is to help finance student programs.
Student Event Ticket
Regular session, each session$45.00 (98-99 rate)

(Fee assessed to all students enrolled for 7 or more hours.) The SET fee is not refundable. The SET fee permits admission to UNK sponsored events.


Student Parking Fee
Parking registration fee

The Parking Fee is not refundable. The Parking Fee provides for a permit to park in designated areas on campus.
Student Weight Room Fee
Student Weight Room$0.25/hr (98-99 rate)
The Student Weight Room Fee is a one year fee to fund improvements to the student weight room.
