The State of Nebraska, concerned with providing an adequate veterinary manpower, has contracted with Kansas State University to ensure space and provide partial tuition remission for qualified applicants. The following program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will prepare students for Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine. For further information contact the Pre-Veterinary advisor in the Biology Department.

(Prereq: BIOL 104GS, BIOL 107GS and one year of Chemistry)
BIOL 400, Microbiology - 5 hours (Prereq: 8 hours of Biology)
BIOL 460, Genetics with laboratory - 4 hours
(Prereq: 8 hours of Biology; MATH 101 or MATH 112, recommended)
CHEM 160GS, General Chemistry - 3 hours
CHEM 160LGS, General Chemistry Laboratory - 1 hours
CHEM 161GS, General Chemistry - 3 hours
CHEM 161LGS, General Chemistry Laboratory - 1 hours
CHEM 351, Biochemistry - 4 hours
CHEM 375, Analytical Chemistry I - 5 hours
ENG 101GS, Expository Writing I - 3 hours
