Minors are 24 hours; 18 must be unduplicated. Electing a second major may add as many as 18 required hours. Should 6 hours of the minor also meet other requirements, the unrestricted electives will be greater.

All UNK degrees require a minimum of 125 hours. Forty (40) of the hours required for all UNK degrees must be upper division hours, which are courses numbered 300 or above taken at a 4-year college or university.

FREN 200GS, Intermediate French I - 3 hours
FREN 201GS, Intermediate French II - 3 hours
FREN 204GS, Intermediate French Conversation - 2 hours
FREN 303, French Phonetics - 2 hours
FREN 305, Study of French Civilization - 3 hours
FREN 401, Advanced Composition and Grammar Review - 3 hours
*Students with high school preparation or native competencies may enter the program at a higher level, reducing total hours for the program. Students beginning a major in French in the Fall of 1997 or thereafter may not include FREN 100/101 in the 34 hours for the major. See advisor for equivalency.
