ADMISSION INFORMATION


The University of Nebraska at Kearney seeks to make provision for personal and social needs as well as to promote students' intellectual development in harmony with their ability level and interests. Students may be granted admission for either regular semester or for the summer session. All students seeking admission for enrollment in degree oriented programs must complete the application for admission and the related documents before admission can be determined. All materials become the property of UNK and are not returned.

Admission may be invalidated if granted on the basis of erroneous information willfully submitted, or if the disclosure of facts required in the application process is intentionally concealed or omitted.

The Director of Admissions receives and processes all undergraduate applications and transcripts, and issues acceptance notification. Correspondence concerning admissions and requests for applications may be directed to the Director of Admissions, University of Nebraska at Kearney. The Office of Admissions is part of the Student Affairs Division.

The following outlines the current and new for fall of 1997 admissions policies for UNK for first-time entering freshmen. The requirements do not pertain to transfer students, international applicants, readmissions and non-degree students.
