The Nebraskan Student Union

At the heart of the UNK campus, the Nebraskan Student Union, serves as the core of university community life. Provisions of the Nebraskan include facilities, services, and events that respond to the needs of students, faculty, staff and alumni. It provides opportunities for students to practice theories learned in formal and informal educational settings, while participating in roles as managers, employees, event planners, leaders, and volunteers.

The recently renovated facility features six dining areas: the Antler Snack Bar, the Sandhills, the Sweet Shoppe, the Commons and the Chancellor's Dining Room. Also included in the Nebraskan are a hair salon, the Antelope Book Store, meeting areas, the High Roller Arcade, Posters and More poster shop, television viewing areas, group study rooms and student organization mail boxes. The Nebraskan extends a cordial welcome along with offering good food, a pleasing environment and excellent service from a dedicated staff.
