Admission Statement
Admission to UNMC nursing school is competitive and based on scholastic record, personal
recommendations and an admission interview. Students applying to nursing schools other than
UNMC College of Nursing should check with those schools for specific course and admission requirements.
A. Complete pre-nursing requirements with grade of at least
a "C" = 62 hours
The UNMC College of Nursing
requires completion of 62 credit hours of pre-nursing pre-requisites with a grade of "C"
or better for admission.
B. Complete nursing curriculum with grade of at least a "C" = 66
hours
