- UNK degrees require a minimum of 125 hours. Forty (40) of the hours required for all
UNK degrees must be upper division hours, which are courses numbered 300 or above taken at
a 4-year college or university.

- ECON 420, Environmental Economics - 3 hours
Take 1 course from:
- GEOG 315, Geographic Information Systems - Principles and Concepts - 4 hours (Prereq: junior or senior standing)
- GEOG 316, GIS - Working with GIS and Spatial Analysis - 3 hours (Prereq: junior or senior standing)
Take 1 course from:
- GEOG 400, Water Resources - 3 hours
- GEOG 412, Environmental Planning - 3 hours
Take 1 course from:
- GEOG 410, Geographical Techniques and Thought - 3 hours
- GEOG 415, Internship - 3-6 hours
- GEOG 416, Applications of Geographic Information Systems - 3 hours
