Asian American Student Association: exists to encourage a deeper understanding of Asian values and cultures and to promote unity and socioeconomic awareness.
Bahamian Student Community: BSC promotes and encourages an environment of social, cultural, and educational interaction among its members, and provides a medium for the collection and dissemination of information relevant to the Bahamas and Caribbean community of both the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the local region.
Black Student Association: works to create a sense of pride, heritage and understanding among its members, the University, and the surrounding community.
Friends of Nepal Student Organization: open to all UNK students, works to promote friendship with Nepali students and alumni. The group provides an opportunity to learn more about Nepal and the Nepali culture.
Hispanic Student Association: This organization serves to celebrate the diversity and address the concerns of the Hispanic, Chicano and Latino cultures. HSA welcomes students from all racial/ethnic backgrounds.
International Student Association: Recognizing the importance of exchanging views and ideas on an intercultural basis, ISA acknowledges the necessity of an organized group in promoting an atmosphere of good will, international understanding, and good relations with fellow students, the UNK administration, faculty and staff, and the Kearney community.
Japanese Association at Kearney: JAK hopes to create and promote better understanding about Japan and cultural exchange in all matters related to Japan among the student body, faculty and staff of UNK, and in the community. It also hopes to encourage Japanese students to participate in and present social and cultural programs and help new students individually and collectively by acquainting them wit the various types of services and facilities available to them on campus and in the Kearney community.
Latin American Student Association: LASA promotes a better understanding between North American students and international students of Latin heritage.
Native American Student Association: provides the opportunity to gain an understanding of the traditions and practices which set Native Americans apart as a culturally rich people.
