(Although the Statistics Minor is open to all students, it is primarily designed for
students whose major includes at least MATH 115, Calculus I with Analytical Geometry.)
- A. Requirements
- Take all the following:
- MATH 115*, Calculus I with Analytical Geometry
- 5 hours
- MATH 202*, Calculus II with Analytic Geometry -
5 hours
- MATH 260*, Calculus III - 5 hours
- MATH 440*, Linear Algebra - 3 hours
- STAT 345, Applied Statistics I (or equivalent)
- 3 hours
- STAT 441, Probability and Statistics - 3 hours
- *Students with sufficient preparation may enter the statistics minor at a higher
level; hours need to total at least 24 to complete the minor.
