A course for renewing or gaining practical speaking skill in Spanish for the prospective
business person or traveler to Spanish-speaking countries.

- SPAN 103 - Spanish for Special Purposes - 1-3 hours
- Prereq: none
A course designed by the instructor for specific professions or other groups (for medical
or law enforcement personnel, teachers, etc.) and will vary according to the target group.
It emphasizes pertinent vocabulary and phrases which can aid the students as they
communicate professionally with Spanish speakers whose knowledge of English is very
limited.
