1998-99 ASSESSMENT
Social Survey is now SOC 370. Senior Seminar, SOC 468, is the new capstone course and it
has not yet been offered. The Exit
Interview process is under study. A pilot using a focus group procedure was carried out
this year and seems to give us better data.. |
1997-98 ASSESSMENT
No changes are necessary in the assessment plan. |
1996-97 ASSESSMENT
No changes are necessary in the assessment plan. |
1995-96 ASSESSMENT
A fifth assessment means has been added addressing the skills as reported by those who
supervise students who earn a Secondary Teaching Degree with a Sociology Endorsement,
grades 7-12. The numbers of students who earn this degree are small, but this makes it no
less crucial that these students have good background knowledge of sociological concepts
and skills to be used in their classrooms. |
1994-95 ASSESSMENT
Capstone Experience, student teaching for our teacher education students, has been added
to our assessment tools. We have recently named a Curriculum Committee Chair who will
conduct a review of comments and take under consideration all implications for curriculum
revision. |
1993-94 ASSESSMENT
The assessment plan will not be changed. |
