ASSESSMENT
The assessment plan meets the needs of the department and will not be changed. |
1995-96
ASSESSMENT
To improve the assessment process for the PTE Department, two faculty assignments were
recommended and approved by the Department
- one three hour assignment in continuing
the follow-up survey of student teachers
- a person to work with the coordination of
the secondary methods classes taught outside the College of Education
The department feels that these changes
will improve the overall assessment of the teacher education students. The 1996-1997
assessment will indicate how effective these changes were. |
1994-95
ASSESSMENT
No major changes in the assessment plan were contemplated. |
1993-94
ASSESSMENT
The evaluation form used to assess student teachers has been changed to more closely
reflect the outcomes identified in the College of Education knowledge base. The new
instrument was introduced in Fall 1994. This is the only change in the assessment plan. |
