ASSESSMENT PLAN
The faculty will examine and evaluate the assessment plan on a yearly basis.
Recommendations for changes will be made to the department chair. |
1999-2000 ASSESSMENT
|
1998-99
ASSESSMENT
Since the Department no longer offers a degree that requires a thesis, that assessment has
been removed from our assessment plan. The rest of the assessment plan remains unchanged. |
1997-98
ASSESSMENT
Portfolios and Exit Examinations will again be reviewed at the annual retreat. The rest of
the plan is serving the needs of the department and will continue. |
1996-97
ASSESSMENT
Annual review of Departmental assessment occurs at the end of fall retreat. Continued use
of Portfolios and Exit Examinations is undergoing review. |
1995-96
ASSESSMENT
Assessment of programs, classes and students continue to a faculty priority. We will
continue to use the same assessment plan. |
1994-95
ASSESSMENT
The department found the use of Graduate Record Examination as Exit Examination to be
unsatisfactory (see above) and will investigate development of an instrument that more
accurately measures what our objectives define. |
1993-94
ASSESSMENT
No recommendation for change in the assessment plan exists. |
