ASSESSMENT PLAN
When graduate students finish the program of study, they take a comprehensive exam based on their coursework (courses in French, German, or Spanish and courses on learning and teaching foreign languages)
2000-2001 ASSESSMENT
One graduate student passed comprehensive exams for the M.A. Ed - Spanish.

Because of budgetary concerns, the department has to postpone offering SPAN 814, substituting Study Abroad.

1999-2000 ASSESSMENT
Two graduate students passed comprehensive exams for the M.A. Ed.- Spanish. In response to increasing standards on comprehensive examinations, the graduate program was restructured to include a new course, SPAN 814. This course is designed to increase oral and written proficiency and the knowledge of culture.
