ASSESSMENT PLAN
This assessment plan will be reviewed at an annual department meeting.
1999-2000 ASSESSMENT
The advisory councils are being developed and will be in full operation this next year. This will be used along with materials from the senior exit interviews to determine the strengths and weaknesses of our there degree programs.
1998-99 ASSESSMENT
After doing the follow-up of graduates it was decided to do this on a three-year rotation. The use of advisory councils will be developed and used in the next two years.
1997-98 ASSESSMENT
The Department will drop the Senior exits for one year since we will do the 1-3 year follow-up of graduates in the summer of 1998. The assessment plan will remain the same as last year.
1996-97 ASSESSMENT
The Department has changed capstone courses in the degree options to writing intensive: ITEC 451(Industrial Distribution), ITEC 498 (Construction Management), ITEC 390 (Telecommunications Management). The rest of the assessment plan will remain the same as in years past.
1995-96 ASSESSMENT
The Department will continue its present assessment plan.
1994-95 ASSESSMENT
The Industrial Technology Department will continue to use this assessment plan to improve instruction.
1993-94 ASSESSMENT
The Department will continue the present assessment plan. We also will conduct a survey of employers next summer to get even more feed back on our degree options.
