Mission

Students with a major in International Studies and an accompanying international experience should undergo a personal metamorphosis- a gestalt change that varies from student to student. This change is enormously important as an outcome of the program and makes students become more mature, sophisticated, hungry for knowledge, culturally aware and sensitive. Students learn to question their own prejudices and all national stereotypes. They ask the meaning of national culture. Their horizons are extended and they gain new perspectives. In short, they become prepared to live in a complex world of multiple variables with a well developed understanding of perspective consciousness.
