ASSESSMENT PLAN

The Department will begin a formal survey of all graduates three months after graduation.

Twenty-seven students graduated in December; eleven responded (55%). Students were asked a series of yes/no questions. In addition, they were asked to rate statements on a scale of 1-10, with 10 providing strongest agreement.

The survey speaks to the overall quality of the program. Personalized advising and career advising are effective, however students require more preparation in research methods. Faculty are including more material on research in existing courses and the Department is considering beginning a research methods course.
