ASSESSMENT PLAN
Interior Design students assemble a portfolio as part of the requirements for FCSC 475, Internship. Portfolios are evaluated by the Program Director. Portfolios are evaluated in terms of overall program expectations set my NKBA.

1998-99 ASSESSMENT
1997-98 ASSESSMENT
Students showed strengths in rendering, perspective drawing, competence in handling CAD programs and design layout. Student portfolios reflect a full mastery of contemporary technology used in the Interior Design field.
1996-97 ASSESSMENT
Individual strengths and weaknesses vary but students display competence in their portfolios.
1995-96 ASSESSMENT
Portfolios demonstrated that students are well prepared by the program. More emphasis will be placed on CAD applications in design work and students will be introduced to other, more versatile CAD programs.
1994-95 ASSESSMENT
Student portfolios displayed proficiency in Interior Design. More emphasis in assignments will be made in CAD applications.
1993-94 ASSESSMENT
Portfolios demonstrated strengths in most areas, but suggest need for a wider range of competencies in CAD design. More emphasis will be put on CAD in design projects.
