ASSESSMENT PLAN
Revised 97-98
The School Psychology program has adopted a portfolio final assessment process. Students present their portfolios in an open forum.

This continues to be considered for the Counseling programs.

The Department is considering the use of student portfolios documenting professional growth and development. The portfolio would be used as a part of the development of the internship experience and would be an integral part of the comprehensive exam.

1997-98 ASSESSMENT
The School Psychology students asked to have an audience for the portfolio presentation. The department has opened the forum to newly admitted students, who provide an audience and, in addition, are introduced to the complete student experience.
1996-97 ASSESSMENT
The Department continues to consider this assessment process.
1995-96 ASSESSMENT
A subcommittee has been formed to prepare a proposal related to portfolio assessment.
1994-95 ASSESSMENT
As we pursue accreditation by CACREP for the department, the development of this assessment tool is on hold until we can be sure of their requirements regarding portfolios.
1993-94 ASSESSMENT
The department is still discussing the use of portfolios pending receipt of information from the accrediting agency, CACREP.
