Mission

To provide educational, research, and service functions to the citizens of Nebraska" in areas of Computer Science and Information Systems. The department "provides students with the opportunity for higher education of the highest quality" communicating "the understandings, attitudes, and skills necessary to give competence in Computer Science and Information System field" and in maintaining "an atmosphere of helpful cooperation between students and faculty."
