ASSESSMENT PLAN

discontinued in 1997-98
The education majors have student teaching as a capstone experience.

1997-98 ASSESSMENT
The CSIS faculty chose to deactivate its computer science endorsement and supplemental endorsement programs due to low enrollment. The overall situation will be reevaluated periodically to determine whether to reactive those programs.
1996-97 ASSESSMENT
There we no teaching endorsement students in student teaching experiences this year. Due to the low number of students enrolled in the endorsement program, the faculty will consider next year whether to deactivate the program. Inasmuch as some of the endorsement courses are also part of the MSEd in Instructional Technology program, the faculty will also examine its involvement in that program.
1995-96 ASSESSMENT
One CS teaching endorsement student completed his student teaching assignment with a strong positive result. He was employed in the education field, at an ESU.
1994-95 ASSESSMENT
Two computer science teaching endorsement students successfully participated in student teaching in 1994-95. Both found positions in education.
1993-94 ASSESSMENT
The department had no student teacher graduates during l993-94. The exit interview will be reviewed and given l996-97.
