1998-99 ASSESSMENT
|
1997-98
ASSESSMENT
The Department did not receive a report from Professional Teacher Education regarding our
student teachers. |
1996-97
ASSESSMENT
Reports from cooperating teachers and university supervisors indicated that our students
were well above average in all areas, scoring highest in Professional Practice. The lowest
rating (slightly under 4 on a 5 point scale) was in "identifies and diagnoses learner
need." This concern will be addressed by the faculty. Student teachers appear to be
better prepared in the use of computer technology in the classroom. |
1995-96
ASSESSMENT
Feedback from our teacher education students indicated that they needed more ability to
use computer technology in the classroom. We have responded to this by increasing exposure
to computers and computer technology in our methods class. In addition, three one-hour
computer classes has been added to our teacher education program requirements. |
1994-95
ASSESSMENT
The results of last year's survey, conducted by the College of Education, were returned
and one individual who completed the business teacher education program responded to the
survey. |
1993-94
ASSESSMENT
We participate in the survey conducted by the College of Education. Shirley Houston, our
Teacher Education Faculty, used this information. |
