1994-95 ASSESSMENT
The Department has revised the assessment plan after reviewing the procedures and results
of 1994-1995. It has been determined that the Accounting Achievement Test that was to be
given to all students in Beginning Accounting 11 (BACC 25 1) was an inappropriate test.
The Department expected to set a minimum exit requirement for all BACC 251 and BFIN 308
students and not allow students to advance to the next class without passing the
Accounting Achievement Test(BACC 251)and the Dante Finance Test(BFIN 308). The faculty has
determined that the tests are unsuitable and do not assess our students knowledge. The
Department has decreased the importance of assessing students knowledge after the
beginning courses (BACC 251 and BFIN 308) and are concentrating on assessing the knowledge
of our majors. |
