1997-98 ASSESSMENT
Two Graduate students, one in Ceramics and one in Painting, successfully exhibited their
work in the Walker Art Gallery and defended their theses through an oral exam before their
Committees. The quality of the students' theses was commendable as evidenced by each
Committee's unanimous approval.An
informal verbal survey was conducted by each Committee to ascertain the students' response
to the Department's Graduate Program. All student responses were positive, especially the
opportunity to create a body of work.
In response to earlier verbal surveys, as
well as other input from students, faculty and the institution, individual studios have
been made available to graduate students. |
