abilities. Previous recommendations in the area of typography have been addressed by
requiring an advanced course in typography and an advanced course in computer graphics. |

ASSESSMENT
Enrollment for the 1994-95 academic year:
Fall, 1994 |
6 students |
Spring, 1995 |

External reviewers, in general,
complimented the graphic design students for their divergent thinking in visual problem
solving. This, in part, is manifested through a diverse faculty. Also, the graphic design
students are applauded for their quality oral and visual presentations, good portfolios,
and resumes. General recommendations include a greater exposure to and work with
typography. Typography, Art 301, is now a prerequisite for a number of studio classes in
Graphic Design. Starting in the Fall, 1996, a second typography course will be required. |
