present an oral defense relative to their exhibition. In addition, their presentations
included a portfolio and resume. The impact of the required aesthetics class and writing
intensive art survey courses is becoming evident. Generally, seniors are more articulate

outstanding, especially during the fall semester. |

being revamped so that the Department receives more complete feedback from the PTE student
teaching supervisors and cooperating teachers.
Public Show and Oral Examination:
Seniors demonstrated an ability to present an oral defense at their exhibit along with
their portfolios and resumes, with some showing an outstanding ability to verbalize not
only the aesthetic problem but the success and limitations of the solutions they adopted. |
