The assessment plan will be reviewed yearly to determine its effectiveness and make
changes as they are indicated. |

1997-98 ASSESSMENT
The plan remains the same with the exception of a voluntary portfolio review for all
Visual Communication & Design majors in their late sophomore or early junior years. |
1996-97 ASSESSMENT
The department has implemented the revision of the capstone requirement reported last
year. The rest of the assessment plan remains the same. |
1995-96 ASSESSMENT
The Department has revised the assessment plan so that portfolios are now required for all
other majors in addition to B.F.A. candidates. |
1994-95 ASSESSMENT
The assessment plan will continue with the changes noted on the individual assessment
means. All assessment results are
used by the Department of Art & Art History for both formal and informal curriculum
and program evaluations.
